Kasyo Health Institute stands as a powerful force, committed to revolutionizing healthcare and development across communities, boldly facing challenges and forging a path toward a healthier, sustainable future for all.

In February 2024, a team of six youths registered "Kasyo Health Institute (KHI)" with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau with a vision to contribute towards building resilient communities through empowering women, youth and children to champion sustainable health and developmental in Uganda and beyond. We use a community-based approach to promote health and disease prevention in rural communities of Uganda.

A word from our programs director

At Kasyo health institute (KHI) we are deeply committed to building resilient and sustainable communities in Uganda and beyond. We operate under a mandate to contribute towards building resilient communities for all, through addressing pressing community health and social challenges faced by different vulnerable populations in our local communities.

At KHI, we believe that sustainable development begins with creating healthy communities and empowering women, youths and children as key agents of change. Guided by responsibility, inclusivity, and resilience, we are dedicated to ensuring that no one is left behind on this journey towards a healthier and more equitable world.

Our Objectives

To empower women and youth in addressing community health challenges through sustainable community led initiatives

To conduct health promotion campaigns among women, infants and youths

To support and conduct health tech innovations to improve health outcomes in Ugandan populations and beyond

To carry out research in health and development that will guide evidence-based interventions, policy formulation, and innovations

To promote and advocate for sustainable social-economic development among vulnerable women and youth
